- Chlorhexidine is a potent antibacterial agent which has a non-specific mode of action. It binds to the negatively charge surface of bacteria and fungi depending on its concentration, exerts either a bactericidal, fungicidal or bacteriostatic effect
- Contains Spherulites- an exclusive and patented encapsulation system that provides a slow release of ingredients long after the product has been applied
- Contains Chitosanide- a natural biopolymer that creates a protective film on the skin and coat. This reinforces the hydrating and restoring effects of the formation, helping to protect the skin against damage from the environment.
- Leave- on products persist longer as they are not rinsed off. This prolongs the contact time of chlorhexidine, the active ingredient, and increases the residual activity.
